Bidding on the Indian Railway E-Procurement System (IREPS) is a document-heavy process. Contractors review each tender for eligibility, compliance, and commercial competitiveness before submitting a bid, then compare their rates against competing bids once the results are published.

• The contractor's team identifies the mandatory letters and eligibility criteria by reading the entire Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) Header PDF, a document of 7 to 10 pages at minimum.
